CompTIA the Trade Association of the ICT industry has been named this week as one of the Best Places to Work in Illinois.This is the fourth consecutive year, CompTIA has earned a place in the list.CompTIA ranked ninth in the category of small means employers (100-499 employees).A total of 65 small, medium and large companies were honored as Best Places to Work in Illinois.

Best Places to Work in Illinois includes small, medium and large businesses, for-profit and nonprofit organizations.Launched in 2006 the program is supported by the Daily Herald Business Ledger in partnership with the Association of Human Resources Management in Chicago the Management Association of Canada the Illinois Chamber of Commerce the board of the Chicago community and urban labor Creek Chamber of Commerce oak.The program is managed by Best Companies Group.
Companies from across the state entered the two-step process to determine the Best Places to Work in Illinois.The first part consisted of evaluating policies in the workplace practices and demographics of each company name.This part of the process is worth about 25 percent of the total evaluation.The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience . This part of the process is worth about 75 percent of the total evaluation.The combined scores determined the big companies and the final ranking.
